About Us
Archbishop Alexander Ibezim College of Education Nibo-Nise is an academic centre for the production of highly qualified teachers for the award of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in order to meet the educational challenges of the millennium.
It is a private faith-based institution owned by the Diocese of Awka (Anglican Communion). The College was established and incorporated with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria on 18th December, 2023 under Company & Allied Matters Act 2020 to provide functional and quality training in the field of Teacher Education.
The College has also been approved to run National Certificate in Education Programme (NCE) by the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE) Abuja.
The College is sited on the ground of a defunct Grade II Teacher?s Training College St. Mark?s Teacher Training College, a site inspected and approved by Anambra State Ministry of Education. It is located along Awka-Agulu road not far from Anambra State Government Lodge, Awka. The said site was also used as a campus of Paul University, Awka and vacated a The institution is poised to kick start its services with excellent professional training and research in the following areas of study: General Education, Arts & Social Sciences, Basic Education, Science Education & Vocational & Technical Education with the approval of the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE).

Establishment and Appointments
The establishment of the institution is another bold and visionary initiative of an education loving and friendly Archbishop, His Grace, the Most Revd, Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, PhD, the Archbishop Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Bishop Diocese of Awka.
